.xxx domains will soon be available on the net. They are being introduced so users are aware that the site is part of the adult entertainment industry (those that click through anyway can probably tell by the pictures!).
Now you very probably have no interest in having a .xxx domain for your brand, but you may want to block someone else from registering one that contains your brand name. Realistically this is only going to affect the big boys (no pun intended). So if you are Prenderghast Builders, you’re probably safe from someone buying up prenderghastbuilders.xxx.
